Father John, the notorious serial killer, is back for revenge, as well an all new killing spree. He hires prostitutes and then strangles them with rosary beads, leaving behind a hundred dollar bill with Ben Franklin's eyes burned out. Also in his cross-hairs is Bentz's daughter, Kristi, a true crime writer, who survives an attack when the novel opens but it ends with her husband Jay's death. Was the attack the work of Father John? Or is there another killer on the loose in New Orleans, this one with his own agenda for revenge against Kristi.
