FAQ

What will happen to my lists in the old catalog?

Lists that you had in the old catalog were able to be manually imported into the new catalog during the transition period from April 2023 until January 2024.

Starting in February 2024, we introduced an option to directly import lists from the old catalog.

You may also access your old lists by using the OWWL app, available for iOS and Android.

Can I track the history of items I've checked out in the new catalog?

Yes, the new catalog can keep your circulation history. Activating this feature will keep the circulation history for both physical and digital titles that you check out. Please note that circulation history can only be tracked from the time you activate the feature in the new catalog. Please see this page for more information about this feature.

The library takes seriously the privacy of your library records. Therefore, we do not keep track of what you borrow after you return it. However, our automated system has a feature called "My Reading History" that allows you to track items you check out. Participation in the feature is entirely voluntary. You may start or stop using it, as well as delete any or all entries in "My Reading History" at any time. If you choose to start recording "My Reading History," you agree to allow our automated system to store this data. The library staff does not have access to your "My Reading History", however, it is subject to all applicable local, state, and federal laws, and under those laws, could be examined by law enforcement authorities without your permission. If this is of concern to you, you should not use the "My Reading History" feature.

Does the new catalog change how I access OWWL2Go?

No, the new catalog does not change how you will access OWWL2Go digital titles. Instead, it provides an additional option for accessing this content, including being able to place holds or check out titles all in one place.

If you normally access your digital content on the Libby app, you can still do so. You can also still access digital content on OverDrive's website if you'd like.
